Meet Our Family

It all began with a $15 wood burning tool purchased in the checkout line as an impulse buy. Little did we know, that would be the most well-spent $15 of my life. Born and raised in the small town of Wrens, GA, I started peddling around with the wood burning tool in my dad’s small shop, and later found the use of the tool to be somewhat therapeutic. I enjoyed the sense of creating something with wood and fire and seeing the results. I started making simple gifts for family, and as my skills progressed, so did my equipment and knowledge of the craft.

Upon meeting my now wife, Randi, my passion to make this a business a reality did not seem that far out of reach. I have been a teacher and coach now going on 10 years, but my passion to run this business full time grows closer by the year. Along with my wife, we run The Fire Within Creations LLC from our home in Crossville, TN. From my dad’s small shop to now a fully equipped workshop, this dream of mine is growing daily. Every creation that is purchased is created from my hands, along with the support of my family. We thank you for visiting our site and look forward to creating something special for your family.
